Many of them have been victims of abuse and violence, have lost all their bearings: home, possessions and family… and find themselves left to fend for themselves, traumatized.

Today, they are smiling again thanks to the “Women’s Economic and Social Empowerment Project” run by WILPFCameroon with the support of theOrganisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

For these #16daysofactivism, we firmly refuse to discriminate against women victims of conflict, and will continue to take action so that each and every one of them is a strategic player for lasting peace in her community.
