Excision is a brutal violation of human rights and of the physical and moral integrity of girls and women. If they don’t die, mutilation has violent, direct and permanent consequences on their lives.
Worldwide, 200 million girls and women have been cut; today, those who have survived are determined to change the story of their lives.
We will continue the fight with these resilient warriors so that all our girls are protected from all forms of violence and can freely dispose of their bodies.
