Parade in Dschang: WILPF Cameroon supports local activism for the celebration of Women
Alongside the various activities that enlivened the week of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024, the Western regional office of WILPF-Cameroon marked the occasion by participating in the commemorative parade. WILPF Cameroon’s objective was to promote local activism, support the beneficiaries of the Income Generating Activities (IGA) trained in 2021 by WILPF-Cameroon thanks to funding from #LaFrancophonieavecElles and the support of the Swiss Embassy. The parade brought together 20 girl-mothers, 30 internally displaced women (IDPs) and 5 members of WILPF-Cameroon.
