End of youth training workshop on community activism, violence prevention and Fake News.

This July 27, Douala 3ᵉ youth municipal councilors were able to learn about the Young Web Influencers’ commitment, progress, lessons learned and codes of conduct under the monitoring of Ms. Sylvie Jacqueline Ndongmo.

A question-and-answer session gave a better understanding of the actions of these young pacifists, who every day spread messages of social cohesion in their various communities, to build Peace in Cameroon.
They were also able to examine the proliferation of “Fake news” on social networks, exploring the extent, impact on social cohesion, identification strategies and responsible attitudes by #ADISI_Cameroon.
In a final presentation by Mr. Guy Feugap, on visual communication for peace and existing digital platforms. Although mostly novices, participants quickly integrated the lessons they had learned into their own peacemaking content.
This enriching day ended on a note of total satisfaction, with motivating speeches from the youth municipal councillors and the administrative representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education 237from Ministry of Decentralization and Local Development -Minddevel and Cameroon National Youth Council-CNJC who reaffirmed their support for WILPF Cameroon and its actions in favor of resilient youth.
