Launch of the youth center in Dschang
The city of Dschang is gearing up for a memorable week with the Semaine d’Appel des Femmes à la Paix, an event that places peace, social cohesion and civic engagement at the heart of the community.
Big Moment: The launch of the Maison des Jeunes! The Maison des Jeunes de Dschang is a space specially designed to empower young people. It will offer training, cultural activities, workshops on leadership and advocacy, and above all, awareness-raising activities to promote peace. It will be a real catalyst for the socio-economic development and integration of the city’s young people, particularly those displaced by the crisis.
Local authorities, CSOs, religious leaders and community members will come together to discuss, raise awareness and promote peace.
Our objectives:
1. Raise awareness of the importance of peace and social cohesion.
2. Officially launch the Maison des Jeunes as a youth development center.
3. Mobilize young people around local development and peace initiatives.
4. Strengthen collaboration between young people, CSOs and local authorities for sustainable development actions.
