UNDEF PROJECT
Project closing workshop: fostering social cohesion among young people to prevent hate speech and political violence in Cameroon
On December 12, 2024, at the Hotel TARA in Kribi, WILPF Cameroon brought together committed hearts and minds for an evaluation workshop marking the end of the project “Fostering social cohesion among young people to prevent hate speech and political violence in Cameroon” generously supported by UNDEF.
The day began with ice-breaking activities to create an atmosphere of openness and trust, followed by introductions from the organizing team, the facilitator, and a round-table discussion to value each voice present.
The day was structured as follows:
– Revisiting the road travelled
– Celebrating success
– Highlight inspiring stories and testimonials
– Identifying best practices for building a future free of hatred and violence
A huge thank you to the project team, partners, beneficiaries and all those who contributed to this noble mission. Together, we are proving that peace is built through concrete action and collective commitment. Because every young person is a key player in peace, let’s continue to work for a united, peaceful and resilient Cameroon.
