On Monday, March 10, 2025, a strategic planning meeting was held at the GIZ SCP Yaoundé office to strengthen collaboration between SCP member organizations, including WILPF Cameroon, Nouveaux Droits de l’Homme (NDH), Esperanza CAJ, Dual’Art, Horizons Jeunes and CHARDA.

The aim was to assess participants’ understanding of the SCP program three years after its implementation, clarify aspects of the program that are still unclear, develop a strategic plan for 2025, including monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and reflect on the role of local peace experts within partner organizations and the community of practice.

With a few exceptions, the exchanges revealed that the actions of all SCP organizations contribute to peace-building. Despite the diversity of approaches, the results remain the same.

The session also provided an opportunity to discuss relevant activities to be carried out within the framework of the network, and to propose a timetable for implementation.
