STRENGTHENING PEACE IN CAMEROON: TLS JOINT STRATEGY PARTNERS IN ACTION
Workshop for exchange and reflection between partners in the joint TLS strategy
From March 11 to 13, 2025, the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon hosted a meeting for exchange and reflection between the partner organizations of the TLS joint strategy and Civil Service for Peace in Cameroon.
This 2025 edition was opened by three speeches: The Rector of the Protestant University of Central Africa, Prof Fruissou Samuel, the representative of the head of the GIZ mission in Cameroon, Madame Naddji Rafat Saerije, and the Secretary General of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon, Monsignor Paul Nyada. The three speeches were a moment of peace education and an invitation to all 66 participants representing organizations to make peace their main mission, especially in a context marked by numerous acts of violence in the middle of an election year.
During these three days, through well-developed modules and group work, the member organizations of Bread for the World, Agia Mundo and GIZ SCP assessed their peacebuilding work and subsequently developed innovative strategies to correct weaknesses and adapt strategies to the current context.
