It focuses on monitoring and integrating human rights into national policies through training, research, awareness-raising and advocacy. WILPF Cameroon contributes to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on the follow-up to the recommendations made in Cameroon related to the theme "women, peace and security".WILPF Cameroon has contributed to a better respect for women's human rights in Cameroon, through the monitoring of the implementation of the UPR recommendations and the sensitization of the social and institutional actors concerned.

The programme contributes to the active participation of WILPF Cameroon and its partner organisations in national and UN human rights mechanisms, including the monitoring of the implementation of human rights obligations by the Cameroonian State; strengthening the advocacy capacities of members and partners, national and international advocacy with national and diplomatic institutions and UN human rights bodies.
