It focuses on monitoring and ensuring that human rights are taken into account in national policies, through training, research, awareness-raising and advocacy. WILPF Cameroon contributes to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on the follow-up of recommendations made to Cameroon in relation to the theme \u201cwomen, peace and security\u201d. WILPF Cameroon has contributed to greater respect for women’s human rights in Cameroon, by monitoring the implementation of UPR recommendations and raising awareness among the social and institutional players concerned. <\/p>
