WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY

Women and youth speak out for peace campaign

  1. Campaign Overview

Tailored to Cameroon’s socio-political landscape, the “Women and Youth Speak out for Peace” Campaign aims to mobilize women and youth across the country to advocate and act for peace, justice, social cohesion, and inclusive governance throughout the electoral period. The campaign brings together women, girls, boys, and men from across Cameroon and beyond to raise their voices for justice and peace.

As part of the campaign, national and international Peace and Human rights activists will share powerful messages through radio, television, newspapers, social media, and mobile platforms. Their stories of everyday peacebuilding will promote awareness of UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 (Women, Peace and Security) and 2250 (Youth, Peace and Security), showing that peace is not just a goal but a daily practice.
